Wagenburg-Variation. Die Installation ist raumsprengend, deshalb musste die sonst perfekt kreisförmige Form aufgebrochen werden, um die Geschlossenheit zu gewährleisten. Die Idee kommt aus dem Londoner Umsonst-Blatt Metro, in der so eine Sonnenschirm-Burg abgebildet war. In der Bildunterschrift dazu stand, dass sich Naomi Campbell und ihr russischer Milliardärs-Boyfriend dahinter versteckten. Weil nicht genug Platz war für den perfekten Kreis, mussten wir die Struktur aufbrechen, so dass es nun aussieht, als säße Dschingis Khan im Zelt.

Wagon fort structure variation. The installation is truly spacehungry, so we had to break up the otherwise even circular form to ensure it's closed all around. The inspiration came from London Metro, which showed a similar parasol fort. The caption said that Naomi Campbell and her Russian Billionaire-Boyfriend were hiding inside. As there wasn't enough room for a perfect circle we had to break it up. Now it looks like it houses Genghis Khan.
