Folgende Fragen wurden per Email verschickt:
What do you prefer,
darkness or light? What are the benefits of light? What do you like about the dark? Where would you rather be right now?


Der Text der Vorlesung ist eine Collage aller Antworten auf diese Fragen. Die Fotos sind vom Künstler auf dem Weg zur Arbeit aufgenommen, in der Freizeit oder im Urlaub.

Commissioned by CCA, Royal College of Art, London for 'Do Not Interrupt Your Activities'.

The text is a collage of answers to the following questions:
What do you prefer,
darkness or light? What are the benefits of light? What do you like about the dark? Where would you rather be right now?

The photos were taken by the artist on the way to work, in spare time or on vacation.


"(...) You feel safer, you see what's coming towards you, you can make out things and people better.

It's easier to orientate and tell colours apart, without light I couldn't work, not shower, cook, drive a car, could not tell who is in front of me or which is the way home.
You can see the stars, sounds are clearer, everything is a bit more quiet and mysterious. (...) "
